Hello and Welcome!

I am the artist and creator behind Its Anaything Art. I’ve titled my brand to reflect the love and passion that I have for all things Art. For as long as I could remember, I’ve always loved tapping into my creative side and creating. I’ve dipped and dabbled into various creative ventures, but it wasn’t until a college course opened my eyes to a greater talent I had inside. Within this course I created my first painting as a class project, and I was amazed at how well it turned out.

Drawing was something I knew I was good at, but I never had a clue that I could paint as well. Since that day, I’ve never put the paint brush back down. Most recently, I’ve been in the process of trying to master Calligraphy also. I’ve always been told what great handwriting I had but never took it seriously. Sometimes you have talents that you do so well and it comes so easy to you that you think everyone else can do it too. That’s what I thought about my handwriting, before I realized there was an avenue for this skill. Positive affirmations to inspire people of color all throughout their homes and office is what I hope to achieve through my Calligraphy.

For years, I’ve suppressed my talents and desire to pursue a creative career fueled by my passions. I’ve realized that, although pursuing my dreams may be quite a challenge, it’s far more difficult to continue place them on the back burner with no idea how long I may have to explore and develop them. I created this space for my Art to uplift, inspire, and celebrate the Black experience and culture.
